We were privileged to have Lt. Colonel Jordan Herzberg join us at Congregation Bnai Torah in Longmeadow, MA for a Shabbaton weekend.
He was a very engaging speaker. Listeners were energized, greatly informed and came away with a much better understanding of the dilemmas that Israel and the IDF face. Quoting an attendee, “He really has his finger on the pulse of what is happening.” We-myself included- learned that sometimes our preconceived notions were incorrect. He touched on Israeli politics but did not speak as someone from the Right or the Left rather as someone representing the entire people of Israel. It was a pleasure to host him and to have him and his family participate fully in our Shabbat.
